About the Writers
Cuinn (right) and Connor (left) Joseph are aspiring playwrights from Winnipeg, MB. The brotherly combination share a grand sense of humour, nice smiles, and a love for the theater. They strongly believe that musical theater is the most beautiful art form and have a desire to unite it with their often edgy comedy. They have been writing comedic music together for years and in the summer of 2013 decided to take their writing hobby to the stage in the form of Understudies: A New Musical. Premiering in July of 2014 at the Winnipeg Fringe Festival, Understudies is a true embodiment of the brothers' subversive senses of humour. With a variety of influences from Trey Parker, Matt Stone, and Robert Lopez to Claude-Michel Schönberg and Stephen Sondheim, Cuinn and Connor hope to both amuse and awe their audiences with their work.
